Mound Presence...

Successful pitchers have the ability to maintain focus and exude confidence in every situation. Many times pitchers have rough 1st innings or give up 4/5 runs in any given inning but the good ones maintain what is commonly known as a "blank face" or "No expression" We tell our pitchers to hide their expression to the point where the typical fan couldn't tell whether they are throwing a no hitter or are struggling to get out of the 1st inning. Have a plan when you are on the mound, and stick to that plan no matter the score of the game. Plan: 1st pitch strikes, stay ahead of the count and focus on each pitch!

Good luck this season!
