Off-Season throwing program
This off-season, prepare like you never have before. Dont let the spring sneak up on you again. There is nothing wrong with starting a week early or 2 weeks early to make sure you have the proper amount of time to insure being physically ready for tryouts or collegiate spring workouts. One reason for starting early is preparing for days off over Christmas when there is no one to throw with. We want to build good arm strength before stepping up on the mound. Use your 4 seam grip this winter (making the baseball backspin/carry) each time you throw. You dont need to throw any other pitches during the arm strengthing phase... Get it done!
