The great ones dont think...They React! The ability to react to situations is what makes good players great. Pitchers only think inbetween pitches, not during their delivery. If you are thinking about mechanics, or who the hitter is, or i hope this or that happens during your delivery, you are beating yourself. After deciding what pitch to throw, see your target and throw it! Dont aim it to the glove or hope it to the glove. Throw it and trust yourself. Successful pitchers who can do this are the ones who put in the practice time. Think baseball in the morning, think baseball during practice, but dont think baseball when you are playing!
